Abstract 

Appendiceal anomalies are extremely rare malformations. The authors present a type of appendiceal triplication not previously described in an adult patient with review of the literature. Microscopic examination of postappendectomy specimen revealed acute perforative appendicitis associated with formation of three separate appendiceal lumina.
